Workgroup for Heterogeneous Catalysis

The workgroup was originally led by Robert Schlögl who then took up a professorship in anorganic chemistry at the J.W. Goethe-Universität Frankfurt in 1991, since 1994 director of the Dept. of Anorganic Chemistry of the Fritz-Haber-Institut.

In 1989, the workgroup was taken over by Martin Muhler who then took up a professorship in technical chemistry at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 1996.

My part in the workgroup was mainly to operate the mini-factory for testing Ammonium-synthesis catalysts, data processing of the test results, and preparing computer graphics (e.g. the image at the bottom of this page) for presentations.
